Sir Rob Fenwick passes

It’s with both sadness and immense respect that we remember the mighty Sir Rob Fenwick who sadly passed away.

A lifelong environmental and sustainability campaigner, Sir Rob was fundamental in the establishment of Te Korowai o Waiheke. For decades he has been a steadfast supporter and a leader in establishing predator control on Waiheke.

“We are forever indebted to Sir Rob for supporting us in creating Te Korowai and getting it off the ground. We will continue to honour his love for the environment, his knowledge, and his commitment to the cause as we pursue his vision for a predator free New Zealand by 2050” – Mary Frankham, Project Director for Te Korowai o Waiheke.
